Many of the world’s richest people are known to have daily routines that are tiring just to read about. The top CEOs often rise at incredibly early hours to maximise their productivity, and maintain various habits designed to keep their minds as engaged and efficient as possible. Brain health experts Mind Lab Pro, a company that claims to produce the world’s first universal nootropic designed to boost mental performance, analysed the morning routines of the wealthiest individuals globally.
They then scored them on wake-up times, exercise duration, reading time, mindfulness practices, and schedule planning. Each factor was scored, then averaged to give a productivity score out of 100. The list includes tech titans like Amazon’s Jeff Bezos and Microsoft CEO Bill Gates and provides an insight into how they maximise productivity.
The firm says its research team collected data on billionaires primarily from Forbes‘ World’s Billionaires List, supplemented by insights various reputable sources, including Bloomberg, financial publications, and verified interviews.
In order to analyse morning routines, researchers gathered specific data points on when each person wakes up, exercise duration (in minutes), reading time (in minutes), mindfulness practices, and schedule planning habits.
They then normalised each component to a scale of 0 to 1 and then averaged to create a comprehensive productivity score out of 100.
In cases where billionaires mentioned reading as part of their routine, but exact reading times weren’t specified in source materials, the team standardised to a daily average of 60 minutes.
