A man has been arrested after a double stabbing outside an Islamic centre in the United States. Police in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, have launched an investigation after two people were wounded in a row.
In a statement, Lancaster Police said at about 9.15am local time on Sunday (March 30) officers responded to a report of a stabbing outside an Islamic Centre on block 200 of N. Queen St.
The force added: “Upon arrival, officers located two adult male victims who were immediately taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.”
According to the force, the suspect is an adult male who flagged down an officer after the stabbing. He has been taken into custody.
Lancaster Police said: “There is no ongoing threat to the public. It appears at this time the assault took place following an argument with the involved parties.”
